SourceMaster's Career Training Centers offer hands-on and online training for learning and advancing job skills.
Putting people first includes making sure staff and customers are all safe. We teach compliance to industry safety standards and offer optional certification in red bag handling, as well as Red Cross First Aid skills.

As an opportunity for personal growth and more effective communication with customers and co-workers, we provide online access to linguistic and GED training with support workshops in our Career Training Center.

Our certification program helps managers at our client properties discover the level of job knowledge each staff person has when they arrive, and it promotes greater first-day proficiency and confidence.
Job Training Modules
We provide our people with training modules for most positions in hospitality services, as well as some positions in other industries. The modules begin by defining general expectations for the job and demonstrating the basic skills needed. From there, each module offers keys to performance excellence.
Customer Care 101
Our Customer Care 101 module demonstrates how interaction with customers and co-workers can be as important as how well you do your job technically. The module includes how to greet customers and make them feel welcome, how to work around language barriers, and how to exceed expectations.
Our safety modules include compliance to industry OSHA standards, red bag handling, dealing with medical emergencies, setting out safety cones and caution signs, recognizing potential security threats, and other elements that secure workplace safety.
The best way to deal with an inappropriate statement or action is to replace the thought pattern before it occurs. Our Workplace Compliance module discourages all forms of harassment and encourages each person to honor equality and diversity.
Our leadership training module provides managers and supervisors with leadership approaches, attitudes, and techniques that will help build teams, inspire staff, and deal with difficulties in the workplace.

For properties with a defined cultural brand, we can identify our people best suited to thrive in the company culture and support your service brand. We train our people to be brand ambassadors.
If you have specialized training, we will provide opportunities for you to re-certify each year, which provides an opportunity for you to get up-to-date on newly introduced equipment, techniques, and processes.
At some companies, we work with management to develop a module for orientation and way-finding, as well as the specific skills, challenges, quality standards, considerations, and customer interaction.
